NFT domains, art, collectables have become the poster children in the crypto space, and for good reason. Blockchain technology now accounts for unique identification of every item produced as an NFT. There have always been innovations that anchor technology to real world utility. In the case of blockchain tech, the rise of NFT domains will help build the foundation of a decentralized web by allowing all users to own something individually unique, . . a singular name. This shift to Web3 will improve the ways we interface with identification and commerce.

One of a Kind Domains

One of the great things about owning a Legendary-NFTs domain name is that it maintains the one-of-a-kind qualities of NFT art, collectables, and avatars. As well, there are no more crypto addresses to remember or accidentally share. Additionally, the singularity attributes built into an NFT domain allow for security identification through consensus on the blockchain. NFT domains and NFT art share the same benefits, they are both unique and own-able.

Information graphic on Minting NFT Domains

Minting a Domain name

Minting refers to the process of attaching proprietary rights of the specific domain name, including the extension (.nft, .crypto, .x, or other) to a specific wallet address. All domain names offered by Legendary-NFTs have already been minted on the Polygon blockchain. FYI, Polygon runs on the Ethereum network. In short, validation of the domain’s minted address is provided through consensus on the blockchain, through a tool known as a blockchain explorer. You can use Etherscan or Polygonscan to see if a specific domain has been minted and if it is connected to a specific address.

This is the first step in doing your due diligence. Secondarily, the process of purchasing a domain from us requires the transfer of the asset to a specific Ethereum or Matic/Polygon address within your wallet. This process is securely facilitated by either Unstoppable Domains or by Opensea during checkout. Please be sure to have your wallet set up.
